FREE MONEY FOR SACRED HEART
At Sacred Heart we not only display our Green and White, we Go Green in recylcing and collecting various things that help earn FREE MONEY for our school! Throughout the school year, you and your family can contribute and teach your children how significantly we can all impact our school and our world. What Can I Collect or Recycle to Help Sacred Heart Earn FREE MONEY?
- Laser Ink cartridges
- Aluminum Cans (first Friday every month - beginning Friday Sept. 4)
- Telephone Books (September/October)
- Plastic Shopping Bags
- Old cell phones
- Campbell Soup UPC codes
- General Mills " Box Tops for Education (We receive 10 cents for each box top and we use that money specifically to purchase new library books.)
Coke Rewards (clip your coke reward codes and turn them into the church or school office, or place in the designated box in the back of church. We save up codes to purchase playground equipement, school wish-list items, student suprises, and more! Special thanks to our Moms-N-More Ministry Group for helping to coordinate this great program!
Target Corportation's "Take Charge of Education" program. Sacred Heart School participates in Target's FREE MONEY program. When parents, teachers, and other school supporters use their REDcards (Target credit card), Target donated up to 1% of their purchase to Sacred Heart School. To get started, all you need is a REDcard and to enroll in the program at Target.com/tcoe, or by calling 800.316.6142. This is a great program, and we've recently cashed a check received as a result of last year's REDcard purchases.
Consolidated Communications Earning for Learning (EFL) program. The EFL program has in the past, provided us with extra funds which have been put to good use towards new technology, learning software, art supplies, etc. In 2010, the EFL program is donated $750 to Sacred Heart School when we recycled over 4,500 phone books! If you subscribe to Consolidated Communications, you're helping earn money for Sacred Heart School. And, when you bring your old phonebooks to the church and school office, we will recycle them.
