Matrimony

When we participate in the Sacrament of Matrimony, we are participating in God's creation process, as we fulfill what God intended in marital relationships. As two individuals (now spouses) continue to grow in knowledge of one another, their relationship becomes stronger. They grow in their understanding of one another and themselves, thus becoming co-creators with God in the process of creation. They create love. As the couple realizes the presence of God in each other, they grow spiritually.

At Sacred Heart, we desire to help couples prepare personally and spiritually for a fulfilling and powerful Christian marriage. Engaged couples are required to participate in Pre-Cana classes as well as a six-month preparation period with our parish priest in Focus marriage preparation.
