What Is SCRIP?
When you purchase SCRIP cards, you are purchasing prepaid gift cards and gift certificates that are used just like cash. You can use SCRIP to purchase everyday items such as groceries, gas, clothing, prescriptions, toys, as well as other essentials and best of all, there's no expiration date! The cards make excellent birthday and Christmas gifts, but we encourage all families to use them to pay for everyday purchases.
Purchasing SCRIP cards is one of the easiest ways for your family to support Sacred Heart School -- AND it doesn't cost you anything more than you already planned to spend! The SCRIP program plays an important role in our school fundraising. We've sold over $750,000.00 in SCRIP cards, with a profit of over $35,000.00 for our school!! This program is run by volunteers, and 100% of the proceeds go to Sacred Heart School. Thank you to the many school and parish families who continue to purchase SCRIP cards!
How does SCRIP generate revenue?
Sacred Heart School purchases large amounts of gift certificates from multiple businesses like grocery stores, department stores, and area businesses, at a discount and re-sells the certificates to families, like yours, for full face value. Sacred Heart School gets that "rebate" if you will, back for the school.
