Baptism

The reception of the Sacrament of Baptism initiates one into the believing Christian community. This Sacrament brings new life by water and the Holy Spirit and frees us from sin.  Baptismal preparation sessions are scheduled each month alternating between Sacred Heart and St. Anthony parishes.

These informative sessions explore the meaning of the Sacrament and explain the Rite of Baptism. Parents and godparents benefit from this information in their role of sharing faith with their children. After taking the Baptism Class parents are asked to contact the parish priests to schedule the Baptism.
