Anointing of the Sick

A celebration of Christ's loving concern for members of the Church who are seriously ill, physically, emotionally, or spiritually, is brought about through this healing sacrament. The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is also celebrated twice yearly as a communal celebration at special Sunday Masses.

Parishioners are invited to ask for anointing and to celebrate it with complete faith and devotion. If you wish to be annointed, please call the parish office at 217.347.7177 and the parish priest will visit your home.
