To say thank you for everyone's hard work during our annual parish picnic (held in June), Sacred Heart Parish will host a FREE POOL PARTY on Saturday, August 20, from 8:30-10pm at the Effingham Area Kluthe Pool. Located on the corner of Maple and Evergreen, the Kluthe Pool will provide lifeguards and pool toys. The Parish will provide snacks and drinks, and you're welcome to bring your own. All those who worked at the picnic and family and friends of parish members are welcome to join us!

Annual PRAYER CHAIN FOR LIFE on Sunday, October 2, at 1:30pm. Please join us in the Parish Center for a quick prayer, and then we'll line the corner of Fayette and Henrietta Streets outside of church to make a stand for the unborn. Following the hour long prayer chain, we'll gather back in the Parish Center for refreshments and fellowship.

Sacred Heart Parish will host a VOCATION MASS on Sunday, October 9, at 3:30pm at the church. Bishop Thomas John Paprocki will celebrate the Mass. Everyone is welcome! Following the Mass, there will be a dinner reception at the Effingham Knights of Columbus Building. Banquet tickets are available by phoning 217.821.6176.

The Booster Club of Sacred Heart School will host its annual STEAK DINNER & DANCE on Saturday, October 15, at 6pm at the Effingham Knights of Columbus Building. For more information, click here.
