Fr. Michal Rosa grew up in Poland and was ordained as a priest there in 2005. In 2014, he moved to the United States and became the Parochial Vicar for three parishes: Sacred Heart Parish and St. Anthony Parish, both in Effingham, IL as well as St. Mary's Church in Shumway, IL. He also served as Chaplain for St. Anthony High School in Effingham. On June 29, 2017, he was officially incardinated into the Diocese of Springfield and appointed as the Pastor of Sacred Heart Parish.
Fr. Michal's office hours are Monday - Thursday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Call or stop in to the parish office to visit or make an appointment.
