We're blessed to have recently celebrated our 125th anniversary! Sacred Heart Church and School were started in 1892, and today we continue the mission and vision put in place by our founding members. Living true to this mission, "Grounded in Faith, Focused on the Future", we are focusing on the future of our parish church and school, providing for the spiritual, educational, and social needs of the entire parish family and the community we serve.
A Long and Vibrant History
Sacred Heart Catholic Church has enjoyed a long and vibrant history. The present church "in the round" was built on South Henrietta Street, and is the home to over 930 parish families. We recently completed a church restoration project which added a Narthex gathering space for parishioners and guests to enjoy before and after Mass, as well as for small events and parish gatherings. Our project was funded by generous parishioners, school families, community businesses, and friends of Sacred Heart.
