This holy sacrament is at the heart of the Christian experience of God. Special emphasis is given in preparation of the young children for their first celebration of this sacrament. Parents have the privilege and responsibility of helping prepare their children for this sacrament.
Beginning in the spring of 2019, all parishes within the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois are restoring the Original Order of the Sacraments of Initiation. Therefore, Confirmation and Eucharist are received together, both during third grade.
