Sacred Heart School: Grounded in Faith, Focused on the Future. All Faiths Welcome!

Welcome! Thank you for your interest in Sacred Heart School! For a quick glimpse of what we have to offer you and your child, check out our video below.

Faith-based

Sacred Heart School is an extension of the values and beliefs fostered in Christian homes like yours, as our faith-based environment compliments and reinforces your parental Christian values. We are thankful for the opportunity to educate your child(ren) and to provide the many benefits of a Christ-centered learning environment.

Our Mission

Our mission is to continue the strong academics, discipline, and family-oriented atmosphere on which Sacred Heart School's legacy is based. Most importantly, we strive to make the presence of Christ felt throughout our classrooms, playground, extra-curricular activities, and the whole school environment. Our teachers promote a positive self-image, create an atmosphere of concern, mutual respect, and encouragement, while cultivating an awareness of the needs of all God's creation.

Our Campus

Sacred Heart School sits on a 15-acre campus which includes two playgrounds, a baseball diamond, and much "green space" to expand as necessary.

Academics & Extracurriculars

In addition to the core classes of reading, math, science, social studies, and English, Sacred Heart School offers computer classes, music, art, Spanish, and physical education in Kindergarten through grade 8. Sports, band, and other extracurricular activities are offered to students in grades 5-8 (there are no "tryouts" as everyone gets to participate). Students graduate from Sacred Heart School and go on to excel in high school, not only in academics, but also in sports, drama, band, chorus, student council, scholar bowl, Illinois Scholars, prom and homecoming courts, and various clubs.
