The Sacred Heart Booster Club is a parent-run organization that provides the funding necessary for all extra-curricular activities such as athletics, scholar bowl, band, and more. All parents / guardians are invited to join the Booster Club meetings, as all parents - past and present - are very instrumental in planning and implementing the Booster Club efforts.
Fun Facts About the SHS Booster Club
- The Booster Club pays for all team uniforms, coaches salaries, referees / umpires, gym maintenance, and sporting equipment. They provide concessions at all home games.
- They raise funds through events such as the Shamrock Race to the Cross (held during the annual Church picnic), the Tailgate Tasting Party, GLO BINGO, admission and concessions at home games, and through merchandise sales (t-shirts, window decals, yard flags, etc.).
- The Booster Club also sells two-sided advertising banners that hang on the fencing around the perimeter of the baseball diamond. Each banner sells for $600, and will remain in place for a two-year period. Contact us at (217) 342-4060 if your business is interested in advertising!
Season Passes, good for all Girls and Boys Basketball games as well as all Volleyball games, are available for only $25! You may purchase passes at your next sporting event or by calling the school office.
